PAGE BREAK

Website Implementation

Where books, food, and queerness meet the web

Where books, food, and queerness meet the web

Pagebreak is a Brooklyn-based reading community that mixes literary fiction, shared meals, and local culture. The visual direction was developed by designer Sasyk Mihal – I stepped in to bring it to life on Framer, translating bold typographic compositions and color into motion and rhythm.

I implemented the entire website, crafting transitions, hover states, and looping animations that echoed the club’s energy: warm, curious, a little chaotic.

From kinetic text moments to subtle scroll effects, the goal was to make the page feel like the event – open, communal, and joyfully queer.

The site won a Honorable Mention awards from Framer team.
